Campus Connection
The South Cities Campus Ministry is a group of Christians representing various colleges and universities in the South Bay area. We are striving to love God, love one another, and share his message of grace with others on our campuses.
Our mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We strive to accomplish this through our teaching and small group ministries.
Between the years of enrollment and graduation, students (as you well know) will wrestle with every decision imaginable. The choices they make will shape not only their lives but the world we live in, for the decisions made in these crucial few years set the trajectory for the next 60.
Decisions about lifestyles: to drink, to have sex, to abstain, to binge-purge, indulge, experiment, cheat, serve others. Decisions about career: selecting majors, changing majors, changing majors again, graduate school, internships, employers, location. Decisions about God: to believe, doubt, investigate, ridicule. Decisions about relationships: boyfriends, girlfriends, parents, engagement, marriage, living together, pregnancy, and abortion.
Most students have to navigate these decisions without any spiritual direction or encouragement. The campus ministry targets college students, because it is the decision making time of life: the small window of time where individuals are open to changing their ideas, beliefs and perceptions of the world. This is why roughly 90% of all Christians made their decision for Christ before they reached the age of 21.
We want to see students embrace the purpose, love and forgiveness that God offers them in a relationship with Jesus Christ. We invite you to join us as we fix our eyes on Jesus and journey together as a community of believers.
